GM Decorating are pleased to announce the Management Team 2009.
Liam commenced his career with GM Decorating in 1990. He started on an apprentice training scheme, progressing through roles as tradesman, contracts and project manager. In 2003 Liam achieved his current appointment of Managing Director, and with it brought a new vision to GM. Liam began his career in the British Armed Forces and later held various positions in the general construction industry, specialising in painting and decorating.
Oonagh joined GM Decorating in 2003 and is responsible for the overall operations of the company, and its day to day smooth running. Oonagh also has responsibility for GM Accounting, having recently streamlined the accounting processes to improve efficiency and quality. Oonagh has over 25 years operations and accounting experience gained within the public sector, manufacturing and general construction.
Jacqui joined GM Decorating in 2008 bringing extensive global business experience gained from a management career in Finance, Banking and Local Government. Jacqui joined initially as a consultant, providing GM with a new marketing and business strategy. Following GMs expansion, this is now a full time role and Jacqui is responsible for all new business, overall business development and marketing.
Michael has been working with GM Decorating since 1998, progressing to Senior Contracts Manager in 2004. Mick has over 28 years of experience within the industry and is certified CSCS at Management level. He has overall responsibility for GM’s care sector clients as well as Public Sector and Leisure.
David has over 25 years experience in the decorating and construction industry, 15 of those, working with GM. Following his appointment to Senior Contracts Manager in 2003, David has overall responsibility for GMs social housing contracts and commercial office work.
Mel has been a consultant architect with GM Decorating for the past two years. He brings vast experience of design and project management, having worked on many large scale projects in the UK, Saudi Arabia and North Africa. Mel is a fully qualified architect and town planner having full membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects and the Royal Town Planning Institute.
